De libros, librerías y bibliotecas digitales en la Academia

Abstract

El trabajo analiza, desde la perspectiva de la academia, el impacto del desarrollo de las TICs en lo referido al libro y su contexto, determinados desde la invención de la imprenta resultan por una técnica que la revolución digital pone en crisis. Luego de explicitar a qué lectura se refiere el análisis, se realiza una presentación descriptiva de cada uno de los entes y agentes involucrados. En este marco se plantean las problemáticas jurídicas involucradas en cada uno. Luego se las organiza sistemáticamente, buscando en ellas una razón común. Se concluye que el actual sistema de propiedad intelectual no satisface las necesidades del presente.

This paper analyzes, from the academy’s viewpoint, the impact of ICT on the books and their environment, determined since the invention of the printing press books by a technique that the digital revolution calls in crisis. After specifying the reading analyzed here, the entities and agents involved are introduced and described, considering the legal problems involved in each of them. The different problems are then organized, looking for a ratio. The conclusion is that the actual intellectual property system does not suit the demands of the present time.
