La antropología ha muerto

Abstract

En la actualidad, una parte importante de la disciplina antropológica en el Perú –dentro del marco de la educación universitaria, las investigaciones y publicaciones académicas, y, sobre todo, del flujo del seno de la vida social– parece haberse quedada atrapada en el pasado. Consecuentemente, este artículo sugiere que la antropología no podrá volverse un sano texto autocoherente, exhaustivo y simple mientras no comprenda y acepte –y se reconstituya a partir de– las cinco críticas que vuelven patológica su textualidad. Y, por ello, se propone: 1. Reconocer a los prójimos-próximos-nosotros de la urbanidad como objetos-sujetos de estudio. 2. No confundir redención con investigación. 3. Dimensionar la etnografía como un medio y no como un fin en sí misma. 4. Rescatar el metalenguaje antropológico clásico y contemporáneo. 5. Concebir la semiología como la base del proyecto antropológico.

At present, an important part of the anthropological discipline in Peru -within the framework of university education, research and academic publications, and, above all, the flow from the heart of the social life- seems to have borne trapped in the past. Consequently, this article suggests that anthropology may not become a healthy autocoherente, comprehensive and simple text while it does not understand and accept -and is reconstituted from- the five critical that turn pathological its textuality. And, therefore, it is proposed: 1. Recognize the neighbors-next-us of urbanity as objects-subjects of study. 2. Do not confuse redemption with research. 3. Sizing the ethnography as a means and not as an end in itself. 4. Rescue the anthropological metalanguage, both classic and contemporary. 5. Conceive semiology as the basis of the anthropological project.
