Clubes Sociales: espacios de reconstrucción y consolidación de identidades urbanas

Abstract

En este trabajo presentamos un adelanto de nuestra tesis de grado, en actual desarrollo, en la cual nos proponemos estudiar el proceso de gestación y actual significación de los Clubes Sociales de la ciudad de La Plata. El objetivo de este trabajo es el de establecer qué potencialidades invisten estos espacios para la reconstrucción y consolidación de vínculos urbanos. Consideramos de importancia el estudio de tales espacios ya que, dado los vínculos comunitarios que los originan, contienen la capacidad de generar diálogos transgeneracionales, interculturales, creación y transformación de subjetividades, apropiación identitaria y compromiso cívico-político. En torno a la temática de la identidad, nos interesa profundizar en los distintos niveles de adscripción identitaria que atraviesa el club social según los diferentes momentos históricos, la estrecha relación que guarda con el barrio en su proceso de gestación y la vinculación entre su etapa de popularización con la producción simbólica nacional, para llegar a reflexionar sobre la crisis actual de los clubes en el marco de un análisis mayor acerca del proceso de globalización y la ruptura que implica el tránsito de un modelo moderno a uno posmoderno de pensar y vivir la ciudad.

In this work we present an advancement of our degree tesis, in progress, in which we will study the process of appearance and present meaning of the Social Clubes in La Plata city. The objective of this work is to establish which is the potencial that this spaces have for the reconstruction and consolidation of urban links. We think its important the study of those spaces because the comunities links that gave them origin have inside itself the capacity of generating transgenerationals, intercultural dialogs, creation and transformation of subjetivities, identity appropriation and civic-politic compromise. Around the identity issue, we are interested in deepening the many levels of identity adscription that goes through the social club in different historical moments, the close relationship that keeps with the neighboorhood in its process of generation and the link between its “popularization” stage with the national simbolic production to think about the present crisis of the clubs in the mayor frame of the globalization process and the rupture that implies the transit from a modern way of thinking and living in the city to a posmodern one.
