Un nuevo proyecto teórico y epistemológico para una nueva cultura política emancipatoria

Abstract

En esta reseña al libro <i>Renovar la teoría crítica y reinventar la emancipación social (Encuen- tros en Buenos Aires)</i>, se propone una relectura en clave de transformación sobre la propuesta de Boaventura de Sousa Santos de problematizar la racionalidad dominante occidental, centralmente del Norte, y las condiciones de producción y de circulación de estos saberes. Asimismo, se ofrecen pistas para una lectura crítica en el debate que instala la obra sobre el significado de la emancipación social en sus dimensiones políticas, teóricas y epistemológicas, y se abren pistas para abordar la pregunta por la necesidad de reinventar las ciencias so- ciales y de revisar sus principales teorías, que ya no se adecuan a los territorios del Sur.

In this review to the book <i>To renew the critical theory and to reinvent the social emancipation (Meetings in Buenos Aires)</i>, a rereading pro- poses itself in key of transformation on the offer of Boaventura de Sousa Santos of problematizar the dominant western rationality, central of the North, and the conditions of production and of traffic of these knowledges. Likewise, tracks offer for a critical reading in the debate that installs the work on the meaning of the social emancipation in his political, theoretical and epistemological dimensions, and tracks are opened to approach the question for the need to reinvent the social sciences and to check his principal theories, which already are not adapt- ed to the territories of the South.
