Ensenada de Barragán

Abstract

En este artículo se propone reconstruir y analizar aspectos políticos, económicos y sociales de relevancia que posibilitaron la conformación de la ciudad de Ensenada en un lugar con marcado perfil industrial. Para ello se realizó un recorrido sobre sus orígenes portuarios, se analizó los vínculos trazados con La Plata y Berisso, y se hizo hincapié en las principales industrias que se asientan en ella. Esto permitió indagar en cómo se han ido construyendo y sedimentando las representaciones sobre una ciudad que, principalmente en el peronismo y después con la etapa desarrollista, tuvo un fuerte crecimiento socioeconómico y fabril. Asimismo, este escenario se constituyó en la antesala de la fuerte resistencia obrera en los años anteriores a la dictadura militar de 1976 y durante la misma. Finalmente, a partir de los aspectos mencionados se analizaron los sentidos y prácticas que circulan y participan en la construcción de un imaginario urbano industrial.

This article proposes to reconstruct and analyze the political, economic and social issues of relevance, which allowed the formation of the city of Ensenada in a place with a strong industrial profile. To do a tour on their port was performed origins, links and paths with La Plata and Berisso was analyzed, and it stressed the main industries that are based on it. This enabled investigate how they have been building and settling the representations on a city mainly in Peronismo and then with the developmental stage had a strong socio-economic and manufacturing growth. Also, this scenario was established in the prelude to the strong labor resistance in the years before the military dictatorship of 1976 and during it. Finally, from the aspects mentioned meanings and practices that circulate and participate in the construction of an imaginary urban industry were analyzed.
