Abstract

La relación entre imágenes e imaginario se ha estudiado abundantemente desde distintas perspectivas. El cuerpo es el argumento que se ha introducido últimamente, pero muchas veces se dispone de él de manera lateral, casi como un signo obligado de los tiempos. ¿Pero qué sucede si el cuerpo es central a la imagen tanto como la imagen al cuerpo? En la mayor parte de la producción artística actual esto ha sido asumido. Es decir, que hay obras que fuerzan una ruptura con las líneas verticales de la subjetivación, que perciben y que ponen en juego la relación mencionada con una complejidad inquietante. En las obras de Cohen y de Pombo se hacen presentes algunos de sus rasgos.

The relationship between images and imaginary has been studied from different perspectives. The body is the argument that has been introduced recently, but often laterally, almost as a necessary sign of the times. But what happens if the body is central to the image, as much as the image to the body? In most of the current artistic production this has already been accepted. That is, there are works that force a break with the vertical lines of subjectivitie, they perceive and bring into play the relationship mentioned with a disturbing complexity. In the works of Cohen and Pombo some of its features are present.
