El sonido, ¿resiste?

Abstract

El objetivo de este escrito es realizar una reseña del libro de Esteban Buch titulado Música, dictadura, resistencia. La Orquesta de París en Buenos Aires. Ahondaremos en la búsqueda de herramientas de análisis que realiza el autor para interpretar, desde una perspectiva histórica, un acontecimiento musical y su percepción. A partir de los estudios de caso del libro, se desplegarán los principales aportes que realiza Buch sobre la interpretación de una obra musical como signo de resistencia frente a un poder sistematizado.

The objective of this writing is to make a review of Esteban Buch’s book titled Música, dictadura, resistencia. La Orquesta de París en Buenos Aires [Music, dictatorship, resistance. The Orchestra of Paris in Buenos Aires]. We will delve into the search for analysis tools that the author makes to interpret, from a historical perspective, a musical event and its perception. From the case studies carried out in the book, the main contributions made by Buch in the theme of the interpretation of a musical work as a sign of resistance against a systematized power will be displayed.
