Compuestas medicinales de la Provincia Biogeográfica Pampeana: claves para su determinación e iconografías

Abstract

El presente trabajo representa la segunda prte de las Compuestas medicinales de la provincia biogeográfica Pampeana (este de la Argentina, Uruguay y mitad austral de Río Grande do Sul en Brasil), ubicadas en el tercer grupo artificial de los siete delimitados en la primera parte del trabajo. El grupo 3 está caracterizado por sus capítulos con flores isomorfas y papus piloso. Comprende 53 taxones, pertenecientes a siete tribus: Astereae (Baccharis), Cichorieae (Chondriila, Hypochaeris, Lactuca, Picris, Picrosia, Sonchus y Taraxacum), Eupatorieae (Eupatorium y Mikania), Helenieae (Porophyllum), Mutisieae (Gochnaiia y Trixis), Senecioneae (Senecio) y Vernonieae (Orthopappus y Vernonia). Se brinda una clave para la determinación de las especies y para cada una de ellas se incluye el nombre científico válido, sinónimos, nombres vulgares, distribución geográfica, usos medicinales e iconografía.

The present paper is the second part of medicinal Compositae of the Pampean biogeographic province (east of Argentina, Uruguay, and tbe Southern half of the Río Grande do Su1 state of Brazil), and represents the third artificial group of the seven groups delimited in the part 1. This group is characterized by its capitula with isomorphic florets and its capillary bristles pappus. It comprises 53 taxa, which belong to seven tribes, i.e. Astereae (Baccharis), Cichorieae (Chondrilla, Hypochaeris, Lactuca, Picris, Picrosia, Sonchus and Taraxacum), Eupatorieae (Eupatorium and Mikania), Helenieae (Porophyllum), Mutisieae (Gochnatia, and Trixis), Senecioneae (Senecio), and Vernonieae (Orthpappus and Vernonia). A key for the identification of taxa as well as scientific and vernacular names, synonyms, geographical distribution, medicinal uses and illustrations are given for each species
