Definir un fantasma

Abstract

In the context of the ontology of photography, what is real is suggested as the key to approach the work by the Colombian artist Óscar Muñoz. The corpus of selected pieces is an invitation to problematize the epistemological definitions of the discipline. In this line, we revised some authors who built the classic photographic theory of the 20th century, as well as those authors that have recently stated the categories of expanded photography and post-photography, which are still under development.

Dentro de la ontología de la fotografía se propone la noción de lo real como clave para abordar la obra del colombiano Óscar Muñoz y el corpus de piezas seleccionadas como una invitación a problematizar las definiciones epistemológicas de la disciplina. En este sentido, se revisan autores que conformaron la teoría fotográfica clásica del siglo XX, así como los que de manera más reciente han configurado las categorías de fotografía expandida y posfotografía, aún en construcción.
