La question mal posée: Jorge Romero Brest y la historia del arte en Uruguay

Abstract

A través del estudio de un caso se buscarán conceptos de diferentes autores que permitan reposicionar al investigador para formular nuevas preguntas para el corpus de documentos encontrados. Apuntará a generar un diálogo polifónico que le dé amplitud y que evite llegar a preguntas sin salida, potenciando las instancias de interpelación entre el historiador y las fuentes. Se utilizará la investigación referida a Jorge Romero Brest en el campo uruguayo como plataforma de cuestionamientos y reflexiones, para generar una apertura para poder visibilizar el proceso interno que atraviesa el investigador a la hora de acercarse al objeto de estudio.

Through a case study, we will search concepts from different authors to allow a reposition of the researcher in order to formulate new questions for the corpus of documents found. The purpose is to generate a polyphonic and broad dialogue and to avoid getting to questions without an answer. Besides, the interpellation instances between historian and sources will be enhanced. The research referred to Jorge Romero Brest in the Uruguayan field will be used as a platform for questions and reflections generating an opening to be able to visualize the internal process that the researcher goes through when approaching the object of study.
