Warburg y la migración de las imágenes a través del tiempo

Abstract

A fines del siglo XIX y principios del XX el modelo estilístico-formal utilizado en la historiografía del arte hasta el momento, comienza a ser cuestionado y problematizado por el historiador alemán Abraham Moritz Warburg (1866,1929). A partir de esta figura el presente trabajo que tiene como objetivo la realización de una reflexión historiográfica relativa a éste historiador alemán y, más específicamente, al concepto de Pathosformeln acuñado por el autor.

At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th the stylistic-formal model used in the historiography of art until now, begins to be questioned and problematized by the German historian Abraham Moritz Warburg (1866, 1929). From this figure the present work that has as objective the accomplishment of a historiographical reflection relative to this German historian and, more specifically, to the concept of Pathosformeln coined by the author.
