Maestría en desarrollo sostenible del hábitat

Abstract

Entre las problemáticas de máxima relevancia para la consecución de un mundo sustentable se encuentran las del hábitat o ambiente construido y de la energía, sus interrelaciones y sus impactos sobre el ecosistema global. Esto plantea la necesidad de implementar programas de formación de posgrado, mediante la recalificación de los profesionales involucrados en la producción del ambiente construido, con el fin de dar respuesta a las acuciantes demandas sociales, económicas y ambientales que el desarrollo sustentable plantea hacia el futuro. En este contexto, la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) en conjunto con el Laboratorio de Ambiente Humano y Vivienda. (LAHV-INCIHUSA-CONICET) enfrentan la responsabilidad ineludible de aportar el capital cognitivo que se requiere para posibilitar el inicio del tránsito hacia esa transformación, respondiendo además a demandas específicas que surgen de las limitaciones de las curricula de las universidades regionales en sus programas de grado. Para ello se ha preparado la Maestría en Desarrollo Sostenible del Hábitat, a implementarse próximamente en la Facultad Regional Mendoza de la UTN.

Amongst the most relevant problems encountered when considering the consecution of a sustainable world, are those involving energy and the built environment, their interrelationships and their impacts on the global ecosystem. This calls for the implementation of graduate studies programs aimed at re-qualifying professionals involved in the production of the built environment, thus enabling them to tackle the urging social, economic and environmental demands that sustainable development poses towards the future. Within this context, the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) in association with the Laboratorio de Ambiente Humano y Vivienda (LAHV-INCIHUSA-CONICET) are facing the unavoidable responsibility of contributing the knowledge required in order to begin to move towards that transformation, taking also into consideration the curricula limitations of the regional universities in their undergraduate programs. To this effect, the Master Program on Habitat’s Sustainable Development will be implemented at the UTN Regional Faculty, Mendoza.
