Aplicación del diseño experimental para optimizar la recuperación y reúso de residuos

Abstract

Se presentan las experiencias en la aplicación del diseño experimental en la industria del cuero. La industria curtidora produce en el país una cantidad importante de desechos en forma de virutas. A partir de 1993 se comenzaron experiencias en la planta piloto del CITEC y en curtiembres para separar, por métodos alcalino-enzimáticos, el cromo III para su reutilización, a la vez que emplea la materia proteínica restante en diferentes aplicaciones. Las primeras experiencias con diseños de tipo factorial, estuvieron orientadas a probar la efectividad del método y hallar las variables relevantes al proceso de modo que pudiera recuperar se el máximo de cromo. Se realizaron modelos matemáticos del proceso y se determinaron las condiciones óptimas de recuperación con distintas variables, entre ellas las diferentes enzimas proteolíticas utilizadas. Se exponen modelos y conclusiones obtenidas hasta el momento para contrastar experiencias con otros investigadores y así debatir los métodos de resolución utilizados.

The experiences in the application of experimental design in the industry of the leather are introduced. The industry produces an important quantity of refuses in form of chips in our country. Starting from 1993 experiences in the plant were begun steer of the CITEC and in order to separate,alkaline-enzyme methods, the III chromium for their reutilization, at the same time it employ the material residual in several applications. The first experiences with designs of factorial type, were guided to prove the efectivity of the method and find the excellent variables to the process of manner of recuperating the máximum of chromium. They were carried out mathematical models of the process and they were determined the good conditions of recuperation with different variables, between them the several enzyme utilized. They are exposed models and conclusions gotten until the moment in order ta contrast experiences with other investigators and so debate the manners of utilized resolution.
