dc.description.abstract The results of the spectral classification of about 1800 A type stars brighter than 6.5 mag and north of -20° are reported. Photometric data for these objects were taken from the photometric catalogue existing at the Observatory. As an interesting by-product the discovery of ninety stars with spectral peculiarities is reported. The color-color diagram for dwarfs and giants are briefly discussed and also the relation of color-spectral type. The paper in full will be published elsewhere. en
