Los marginados de la globalización: un dilema humanitario

Abstract

Uno de los conceptos más debatidos en los últimos años en el ámbito de las relaciones internacionales es sin dudas el de "globalización". En esta trabajo la autora, Directora de la carrera de Relaciones Internacionales del Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, México, resalta la ambigüedad que aún hoy encierra la idea de globalización y realiza un repaso por diferentes aproximaciones al fenómeno, constatando tanto acuerdos como desacuerdos entre diferentes autores sobre el particular.

In the scope of International Relations, one of the concepts that has been greatly debated over the last years is globalization. In this work, the author, Director of the Career International Relations of the Technological Institute of Superior Studies of Monterrey, Mexico, emphasizes the ambiguity that still today locks up the globalization idea. The author makes a review by looking at different approaches from the phenomenon, and she contrasts the agreements and disagreements among differents authors of this subject.
