La teoría de la intertextualidad y la revalorización de los centones: el caso del "Cento Probae"

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es señalar los hitos principales del proceso de revalorización de los centones en los siglos XX y XXI, a partir de la nueva perspectiva crítica aportada por la teoría de la intertextualidad, y analizar, a manera de ejemplo, un fragmento del "Cento Probae", que evidencie la riqueza literaria de su trama intertextual y justifique su reivindicación como una obra literaria genuina y original.

The aim of this paper is to highlight the major milestones in the process of revaluation of centos in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, from the new critical perspective provided by the theory of intertextuality, and analize, as an example, a fragment of "Cento Probae", evidencing its rich literary intertextual frame and justify its claim as a genuine and original literary work.
