La apuesta a descentralizar la cultura: Festival Internacional de Teatro MERCOSUR en Córdoba

Abstract

Este artículo aborda el Festival del MERCOSUR 2007 (Córdoba), realizado entre el 28 de septiembre y el 6 de octubre. Los autores consideran no sólo el espíritu federativo que, como un modo de resistencia a la tradicional hegemonía cultural de Buenos Aires, inspiró el evento, sino también las principales tendencias estéticas de los diferentes espectáculos.

This article focuses on the Festival del MERCOSUR 2007 (Córdoba), which took place from September, 28 to October, 7. The authors underline not only the spirit of federalism that inspired the event, against the traditional cultural hegemony of Buenos Aires city, but also the main aesthetic tendencies of the different performance shows.
