In the horticultural zone platense coexist systems with productive different logics, the conventional ones and organic or ecological, recognized like more sustainable than the first ones. The aim of this work was to evaluate the sustainability of these agroecosistemas by means of indicators that analyzed ecological, sociocultural and economic aspects. The organic systems showed more requirements to achieve the sustainability. The major variation among systems, was in the ecological aspects followed by the economic ones and the sociocultural ones respectively. The major ecological sustainability of the organic ones might owe to the system of certification used, that prioritizes some aspects easier measurable or valuable and simplifies the concept of sustainability. As consequence from this, on having compared to the organic establishments with a hypothetical ideal system there might arise some critical points related principally to economic aspects.
