La enfermedad Covid-19 es un problema en la atención odontológica que frente a la pandemia se asocia con inconvenientes en la práctica asistencial. Existe una amplia diversidad de problemáticas socio-culturales y económicas que influyen en la salud bucal. Su estudio ha permitido explicar los comportamientos de individuos y grupos frente a las enfermedades buco-dentales en la FOLP. El objetivo es analizar los factores sociodemográficos que inciden en los tratamientos odontológicos y los problemas de salud bucal. La muestra fue de 75 pacientes de ambos géneros (30 hombres y 45 mujeres) en un rango de edades entre 35 y 45. La encuesta es anónima, voluntaria y los encuestados conocerán los motivos de la investigación. Los resultados preliminares fueron: A- 24 manifestaron tener dificultades de traslado; B- 25 manifiestan inconvenientes económicos; C- 15 manifestaron que debido a la pandemia no tuvieron continuidad en los tratamientos; D- 11 presentaron inconvenientes en su salud general. Estos resultados dan cuenta de que existe una variabilidad de factores que influyen en la atención odontológica, principalmente el aislamiento por COVID-19 y el nivel socioeconómico. Estas son variables que han modificado los servicios de salud y constituyen las barreras más frecuentemente reportadas.

The Covid-19 disease is a problem in dental care that in the face of the pandemic is associated with inconveniences in healthcare practice. There is a wide diversity of socio-cultural and economic problems that influence oral health. Their study has made it possible to explain the behaviors of individuals and groups in the face of oral-dental diseases in the FOLP. The objective is to analyze the sociodemographic factors that affect dental treatments and oral health problems. The sample consisted of 75 patients of both genders (30 men and 45 women) in an age range between 35 and 45. The survey is anonymous, voluntary and the respondents will know the reasons for the investigation. Preliminary results were: A- 24 reported having transportation difficulties; B- 25 showed economic drawbacks; C- 15 stated that due to the pandemic they did not have continuity in the treatments; D- 11 presented problems in their general health. These results show that there is a variability of factors that influence dental care, mainly isolation due to COVID-19 and socioeconomic status. These are variables that have modified health services and constitute the most frequently reported barriers.
