Pentecostalismo y política en Cipolletti: prácticas de legitimación de los pastores pentecostales frente a la Ley de Interrupción Voluntaria del Embarazo. (2018-2020)

Abstract

El debate por la Ley de Interrupción Voluntaria del Embarazo en Argentina, entre el 2018 y 2020, generó movilizaciones en contra y favor para legislar en materia de derechos reproductivos. En este contexto, las iglesias pentecostales en la ciudad de Cipolletti, Río Negro, intervinieron en el espacio social para manifestar sus posiciones en contra del proyecto de ley. Por lo cual, este trabajo indaga en las prácticas sociales que llevaron a cabo los pastores pentecostales de Cipolletti para legitimar sus discursos en la lucha simbólica por el orden de la sociedad.

The debate over the Law of Voluntary Interruption of Pregnancy in Argentina, between 2018 and 2020, generated mobilizations against and in favor to legislate on reproductive rights. In this context, the Pentecostal churches in the city of Cipolletti, Río Negro, intervened in the social space to express their positions against the bill. Therefore, this work investigates the social practices carried out by the Pentecostal pastors of Cipolletti to legitimize their discourses in the symbolic struggle for the order of society.
