The government of Mauricio Macri owes much of its electoral victory to the monopoly media that clearly played in its favor, even doing war journalism as Clarín editor Julio Blanck acknowledged. Some of these favors began to be paid with the repeal of the Audiovisual Communication Services Law, the delivery of the telephone business, Soccer for All, among others. At that time a militant journalism was rising whose campaign was raised in the need for adjustment, the virtues of reducing consumption and resignation in the face of the rates.
