Pandemia y elecciones legislativas en Argentina: comunicación política y estrategias de campaña durante el debate de candidatxs 2021

Abstract

Aquí se apunta a analizar los principales ejes sobre los que se enmarcaron las estrategias de comunicación (política) y de campaña (electoral) utilizadas por los principales candidatxs a diputadxs nacionales por la provincia de Buenos Aires, durante el evento Argentina Debate, en el marco de las elecciones legislativas del 2021. Específicamente el trabajo pretende analizar y comparar las estrategias que utilizaron en la contienda televisiva lxs dxs candidatos de las fuerzas políticas que mayor porcentaje de votos sumaron en la instancia de las Primarias Abiertas Simultáneas y Obligatorias (PASO). A modo más general también se busca indagar en torno al rol de los debates durante las campañas electorales y especialmente, en el marco de una crisis sanitaria mundial sin precedentes, que generó diversas narrativas y que colocó a lxs actores políticos en el centro de la disputa por los sentidos que ayudaron a definirla.

In this project we`ll going to analyze the main frame about communication strategies (politics) and campaign (electoral) that were used by the candidates for national deputies for the province of Buenos Aires, during the event Argentina Debate, in the frame of legislatives elections in 2021. The project aims to analyze and compare the strategies used in the television contest by the two candidates of the political forces with the highest percentage of votes in the Simultaneous and Mandatory Open Primaries. In a more general way, it also seeks to investigate the role of debates during the electoral campaign and especially in the unprecedented global health crisis, which generated various narratives and placed political actors at the center of the dispute over the meanings that helped to define it.
