A numerical model that calculates isolated trajectories of hailstones that evolve in the cloud generated by a stationary-state , one dimensional model is presented.
Each hailstone grows departing from an embryo "introduced" in a given zone of the cloud with the following proccesses being taken into account: heat conduction, vapor diffusion, accretion of water and ice crystals in dry and wet growth conditions, and melting.
The results obtained for a storm case in Mendoza are shown, and from them is seen that hailstones are quickly carried up by the updraft, having their most important growth during their fall. The hailstones obtained have diameters of more than 3 cm (greater than those collected on ground) and they take 50 minutes before they reach the ground, but this is considered an acceptable result since the cloud in which they evolve is a stationary one.
