The production of knowledge in the Higher Teacher Training Institutes (ISFD) raises interest and some concern in the field of Higher Education. Analyze how, where, who and by what procedures are valid and legitimate that knowledge requires thinking beyond traditional contexts of discovery and justification, and even go beyond the modern conception of science.
In this sense, I argue that the epistemological and methodological proposals of the received view, are not the most suitable to give scientific status to the productions of the ISFD because the epochal horizon begin to vislumbrase epistemology and emerging methodologies that show another rationality.
In the first part of the article I will develop knowledge as duplicate representation; then I will present the articulated epistemology diversified history and methodology, ending with other contexts for the production of knowledge. In the second part, I will discuss new ways of knowledge production, concluding with reflections to think beyond modernity.
