Statistics of positions of HII regions as distance indicators

Resumen

We present a new distance indicator based on the statistic of the positions of HII regions for a sample of galaxies. It is shown that this distance indicator may contribute, with advantage, in order to establish a distance scale inside the Hubble domain and perhaps inside Coma cluster. We derive the Hubble constant as 50.0 km/sec.
