We give the B, V, R_B total magnitude of NGC 5253 obtained from digital surface photometry. The equivalent profile of this galaxy in the R_B₋band shows a strong exponential component originated in the disk. When compared with the V-profile shows a negative gradient in the color R_B-V analogous to that found by Caldwell and Phillips in B-V, due probably to the same causes. The contribution of the exponential disk to the whole luminosity in V and R is also estimated: it doubles in R_B that in V. The ratio of luminosities between disk and bulge is typical of E/S0 galaxy.
