Video signal digitalizer system

Abstract

We have developed an equipment designed to acquire and store standard TV camera images in order to be processed with personal computers. The equipment is oriented to a wide range of users to satisfy their necessities of acquiring graphic information cheap and efficiently. The unit permit the acquisition of 384x485 pixel video camera images in 40 milliseconds. The astronomical applications of the system are briefly discussed.
