Tratamiento de una restauración oclusal filtrada, en una pieza dentaria 16, realizada en el curso III de la asignatura de Operatoria Dental “A”

Abstract

En el siguiente trabajo se presenta un caso clínico, en el cual se realiza el tratamiento de una lesión de caries, producto de la filtración marginal de una restauración de amalgama oclusal de una pieza 16 (clase 1 de Black, zona 1.2 de Mount). El paciente asiste a la consulta del Hospital Odontológico Universitario, para el tratamiento de sus caries, durante las prácticas clínicas de una alumna del Curso III de la Asignatura de Operatoria Dental “A “.El curso III se basa en la atención de lesiones simples, mediante el tratamiento por medio de restauraciones plásticas adhesivas, con técnicas adecuadas al caso clínico y teniendo como premisa la restauración mínimamente invasiva; devolviendo a las piezas dentarias su forma, función y salud, no solo mediante un diagnóstico individual (de la pieza a tratar), sino en conjunto (de toda la cavidad bucal).

In the following work a clinical case is presented, in which the treatment of a caries lesion is carried out, product of the marginal filtration of an occlusal amalgam restoration of a piece 16 (Black class 1, zone 1.2 of Mount). The patient attends the consultation of the University Dental Hospital, for the treatment of his cavities, during the clinical practices of a student of the Course III of the Subject of Dental Surgery "A". The course III is based on the care of simple lesions, through treatment by means of adhesive plastic restorations, with techniques appropriate to the clinical case and having as a premise the minimally invasive restoration; restoring the shape, function and health of the teeth, not only through an individual diagnosis (of the piece to be treated), but also as a whole (of the entire oral cavity).
