Evaluación ecotoxicológica del agua del arroyo "El cura" a través de un bioensayo con Lactuca sativa l: (Gualeguaychú, Entre Ríos)

Abstract

El propósito del siguiente trabajo es evaluar el potencial efecto ecotóxico y fitotóxico que producen los diferentes vertidos sobre la biota del arroyo El Cura. Se consideraron tres puntos y se realizaron 6 muestreos. Para los bioensayos se utilizaron semillas de Lactuca Sativa L y se determinó la longitud de la raíz e hipocotilo, la diferencia de crecimiento entre los diferentes puntos y el control y el porcentaje de germinación. Se complementó este estudio con determinaciones fisicoquímicas. L. Sativa mostró niveles de toxicidad para la mayoría de las muestras analizadas. La mayoría de los parámetros fisicoquímicos no cumplieron con los establecidos por los organismos nacionales e internacionales. Los puntos 3 y 4 presentaron en general mayor deterioro de la calidad del agua.

The purpose of the following work is to evaluate the potential ecotoxic and phytotoxic effect produced by the different discharges on the biota of the “El Cura” stream. Three points were considered and 6 samplings were made. For the bioassays, seeds of Lactuca Sativa L. were used and the length of the root and hypocotyl were determined, the growth difference between the different points and the control and the percentage of germination. This study was complemented with physicochemical determinations. L. Sativa showed toxicity levels for most of the samples analyzed. The majority of physicochemical parameters did not comply with those established by national and international organizations. Points 3 and 4 generally showed a greater deterioration in water quality.
