En noviembre del 2021 nos encontramos en el Seminario de Historia de la Fotografía de la Facultad de Artes (FDA) de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) en una charla sobre las relaciones entre fotografía y cuerpo. Este trabajo retoma algunas de esas conversaciones y analiza los modos en los que la fotografía como dispositivo construye corporalidades en la experiencia de ser captados por la cámara y de mirar. Desde una perspectiva de género interseccional, indagamos los vínculos posibles al interior de un cuerpo de imágenes aún en formación: The Hidden Mother (2013) de Linda Fregni Nagler, 97 empleadas domésticas (2010) de Daniela Ortiz, y Semiotics of the Kitchen (1975), de Martha Rosler.

In November 2021 we meet at the Photography History Seminar of the UNLP Faculty of Arts in a talk about the relationship between photography and the body. This work takes up some of those conversations and analyzes the ways in which photography as a device constructs corporalities in the experience of being captured by the camera and of looking. From an intersectional gender perspective, we investigate the possible links within a body of images still in formation: The Hidden Mother (2013) by Linda Fregni Nagler, 97 domestic employees (2010) by Daniela Ortiz and Semiotics of the Kitchen (1975) by Martha Rosler.
