Tensiones en torno a las condiciones de producción de historietistas en la Argentina des-centrada

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se expone un panorama de la producción de historietas e ilustraciones argentinas, desde fuera de su centro de producción (Buenos Aires) en los últimos veinte años. Se busca identificar y analizar las condiciones de producción específicas del contexto de Tucumán, a través del estudio de las trayectorias y obras de dos historietistas mujeres. Se toman las nociones de campo y capital de Bourdieu, distintos aportes de estudios nacionales de historietas y colaboraciones de los estudios culturales y perspectiva de género. Se presentan y analizan las trayectorias profesionales de dos historietistas. Este trabajo busca demostrar la importancia de la perspectiva de género para el abordaje de toda problemática de investigación que, en este caso, permite indagar y hallar datos que, de otra manera, no se podrían haber conocido. Asimismo, se propone un nuevo relato posible sobre el desarrollo de este campo en tiempos recientes.

This work seeks to outline a view of comics and illustration in Argentina from outside its production center (Buenos Aires) in the last twenty years. It seeks to identify and analyze the specific production conditions of the Tucumán context, through the study of the trajectories and works of two female illustrators. The notions of field and capital of Bourdieu will be considered for our theoretical framework, as well as different contributions of national studies of comics and the collaborations of cultural studies and gender perspective. The professional careers of two women illustrators will be presented and analyzed in the light of what has been previously studied. This work demonstrates that the gender perspective is essential for addressing any research problem and, in this case, it allowed to investigate and find data that otherwise could not have been reached. Also allowed the elaboration of a new possible understanding about the development of this field.
