Trabajo, reproducción y cuidados

Abstract

El artículo se propone observar las características que asume el trabajo de cuidados en la esfera comunitaria, recurriendo a la información proporcionada por el tercer informe de Implementación del RENATEP, publicado en abril de 2022. Realiza un recorrido conceptual que parte de problematizar la noción de trabajo hegemónica, que lo reduce a la lógica mercantil y monetaria, invisibilizando el trabajo que las mujeres realizan al interior del hogar y de las comunidades –sobre todo, las de menores recursos– para reproducir y sostener la vida. Para ello, recupera las nociones de trabajo doméstico, reproductivo y de cuidados, reconstruyendo la importancia de la dimensión comunitaria como vértice menos reconocido y estudiado de la organización social del cuidado. La segunda vertiente conceptual que reconstruye el artículo, es la de la economía popular. En este camino, repasa debates y miradas, tanto desde el campo académico como desde las organizaciones sociales que constituyen el sector en Argentina, y contribuyen a moldear tanto su agenda, como sus herramientas de visibilización y fortalecimiento. Luego, desde estos posicionamientos, observa los contornos que asume la Rama Socio-Comunitaria del RENATEP, dado que es allí donde se aglutinan las tareas de cuidado que se desarrollan en la economía popular.

The article aims to observe the characteristics assumed by care work in the community sphere, drawing on the information provided by the third RENATEP Implementation Report, published in April 2022. It makes a conceptual journey that starts from problematizing the hegemonic notion of work, which reduces it to the mercantile and monetary logic, making in visible the work that women do within the home and communities –especially those with fewer resources– to reproduce and sustain life. To this end, it recovers the notions of domestic, reproductive and care work, reconstructing the importance of the community dimension as the less recognized and studied vertex of the social organization of care. The second conceptual aspect that reconstructs the article is that of the popular economy. In this way, he reviews debates and perspectives, both from the academic field and from the social organizations that constitute the sector in Argentina, and contribute to shaping both its agenda, as well as its tools for visibility and strengthening. Then, from these positions, he observes the contours assumed by the Socio-Community Branch of RENATEP, given that it is there where the care tasks that are developed in the popular economy are brought together.
