Entre lo legal y lo legítimo: memorias de las ocupaciones de tierra en San Francisco Solano, Quilmes

Abstract

Las ocupaciones de tierra involucran una tensión entre formas legítimas y legales de acceso a la vivienda que es procesada de diversas maneras. Las representaciones sociales también suturan dicha tensión, validando o impugnando esa modalidad de acceso. En los barrios que surgieron a través de tomas, las memorias de sus habitantes permiten reconocer esa operación, que puede acercar lo socialmente válido a lo legal resaltando la regularización del barrio, o puede escindirlos, manteniendo una posición distante respecto de las ocupaciones. El artículo aborda esas memorias, mostrando modalidades diferenciadas de representación según la trayectoria habitacional de los sujetos.

Land occupation imply a tension between legal and legitimate ways of housing access which is processed in different ways. Social representations may solve this tensions, validating or rejecting them. In the neighbourhoods which are results of this occupations, the inhabitant’s memories carry out this operation, approaching what is socially valid and legal, emphasizing the regularization of the place, or they may maintain a distant position in relation to occupation. The article focus on this memories, showing different ways of representation, according to the housing trajectory of the subjects.
