Protesta obrera y militancia de izquierda durante la presidencia de Isabel Perón (1974-1976)

Abstract

Los diferentes gobiernos peronistas de la década de 1970 se caracterizaron, por un lado, por el alto nivel de movilización social abierto tras el Cordobazo en 1969 y, por el otro, por la aplicación de distintos instrumentos para encauzar este proceso. En ese escenario, el fallecimiento de Juan Domingo Perón, en julio de 1974, abrió una nueva situación política en el país. A partir de esa fecha, se terminó de resquebrajar un relativo pacto de gobernabilidad. La presente ponencia analiza tanto las prácticas de la dirigencia sindical como las políticas gubernamentales aplicadas contra el movimiento obrero con el fin de disciplinarlo durante la gestión presidencial de María E. Martínez de Perón (1974 — 1976). En esta aproximación se hace énfasis en el estudio de las conflictivas relaciones que se establecieron entre los trabajadores de base, las distintas corrientes de izquierda que actuaron en el movimiento obrero y los jerarcas sindicales en una coyuntura signada por el incremento de la represión por parte de dicho gobierno justicialista.

The difierent Peronist governments of the 1970s were characterized, on the one hand, by the high level of social mobilization opened after the Cordobazo in 1969 and, on the other, by the application of difierent instruments to channel this process. In that scenario, the death of Juan Domingo Perón, in July 1974, opened a new political si- tuation in the country. As of that date, a relative governance pact was cracked. This paper analyzes both the practices of the trade unión leadership and the gover- nmental policies applied against the labor movement in order to discipline it during the presidential management of María E. Martínez of Perón (1974—1976). In this approximation emphasis is done in the study of the troubled relations that were established between the workers of base, the difierent currents of left side that acted in the labor movement and the unión leaders in a conjuncture sealed by the increase of the repression on the part of the above mentioned government justicialista.
