Peronismo y deporte (1946-1955)

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo será encarado a partir de las categorías analíticas de Pierre Bourdieu, con el objetivo de tatar de entender la constitución del campo deportivo en Argentina y la ruptura y cambio de “habitus” (Bourdieu 1991:86) con ciertas prácticas deportivas anteriores a la llegada del Peronismo al poder en 1946. Para esto, se tomara brevemente el desarrollo deportivo europeo debido a que es el lugar en donde surgieron estas prácticas. Luego se comenzara a trabajar sobre la aparición de las primeras disciplinas deportivas en el país a mediados de siglo XIX, hasta llegar al gobierno de Perón en 1946 y con él mostrar una ruptura entre las prácticas deportivas previas al peronismo y las posteriores al peronismo.

The analytical categories of Pierre Bourdieu are used to do this paper. The objectives are understand the constitution of the sport field in Argentina and see how the habitus in sporting practices changed with the Peronismo in 1946. First, the development of sport in Europe and the first practice of sports in Argentina in the mid-nineteenth century are described. Then, the changes and the ruptures between that practices and the deporting activities during the Perón government are analyzed.
