Hamlet finge: de la lucha por la reapertura a las generaciones contemporáneas

Abstract

Hamlet Finge (Vallina & González, 1991-2000) es una película que atraviesa dos momentos históricos, desde la lucha por la reapertura de la carrera de Cine de la UNLP en 1991 hasta el año 2000, cuando ya con la carrera en marcha y tras el inicio de una etapa de renovación tecnológica la producción audiovisual universitaria de la ciudad de La Plata comenzó a ocupar mayores espacios dentro del campo cinematográfico nacional e internacional. Volver sobre esta obra requiere un acercamiento al contexto en el cual se desarrolló.

After the closing of the School of Cinematography of the UNLP, the Coordinator for the Reopening was formed. Among the various activities that were carried out, the making of films was highlighted with the aim of reviving film production. One of them was Hamlet Finge (Vallina & González, 1991-2000), an adaptation of the Shakespeare classic whose production extended between 1991 and 2000. Read from the present, Hamlet is a time capsule, which travels from the struggle for the recovery of the School until the beginning of the current litters trained in digital technologies. This paper proposes to carry out an analysis of the aforementioned work, in relation to its historical context, its implication in the Reopening, and its reading today based on the link with contemporary productions.
