Abstract

A partir de la experiencia clínica intentamos registrar la relación problemática entre discapacidad y educación inclusiva a la luz de la vigencia constitucional de la Convención Internacional sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad, de su art. 24 y de la actividad desplegada por el Comité de la Convención en desarrollar el contenido del derecho, su carácter vinculante y los alcances de los deberes del Estado, de acuerdo con la variedad de consultas e intervenciones que hemos recibido a lo largo de los años, intentando iluminar el espacio que se abre para una vida digna e independiente.

Based on the clinical experience, we attempt to document the problematic relationship between disability and inclusive education in light of the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, its Article 24, and the activities undertaken by the Convention's Committee to develop the content of this right, its binding nature, and the extent of the State's responsibilities. This is in accordance with the various inquiries and interventions we have received over the years, aiming to shed light on the opportunities that arise for a dignified and independent life.
