La encrucijada del Estado Africano en el siglo XXI: perspectivas y desafíos en el mundo multipolar

Abstract

El trabajo que aquí se presenta busca analizar la configuración y organización del Estado-Nación africano a través de sus limitaciones como espacio de representación socio-cultural, cómo así también acercando algunos debates al respecto. En ese sentido, se avanza con un recorrido de corte analítico-conceptual para poder comprender el funcionamiento del Estado africano. Se recurre también a recursos temporales para ir posicionando lecturas que no queden ancladas solo en el proceso colonial, sino que traten de comprender estas organizaciones políticas y territoriales en un continuum espacial que nos permita visibilizar sus cambios y permanencias. Por último, proponemos algunas instancias de reflexión sobre los desafíos que se le proponen (o imponen) a los Estados africanos en el siglo XXI en el marco internacional actual.

The work presented here seeks to analyze the configuration and organization of the African Nation-State through its limitations as a space for socio-cultural representation, as well as approaching some debates in this regard. In this sense, progress is made with an analytical-conceptual path in order to understand the functioning of the African State. Temporary resources are also used to position readings that are not anchored only in the colonial process, but that try to understand these political and territorial organizations in a spatial continuum that allows us to visualize their changes and permanence. Finally, we propose some instances for reflection on the challenges that are proposed (or imposed) to African States in the 21st century in the current international framework.
