Determinación de fibra bruta y lignina en plantas de «Vicia sativa», «V. villosa» y «V. disperma»

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se aplica el método de Sullivan modificado por van Soest a la separación de fibra bruta y lignina en distintos períodos de desarrollo de plantas de Vicia sativa, V. villosa y V. disperma, cultivadas en el campo didáctico de la Cátedra de Forrajicultura de la Facultad de Agronomía de La Plata en el año 1970. Se comprueba que con el método de referencia se obtienen datos bastante exactos, lo que lo hace aplicable a otros materiales vegetales, así como también que tanto la fibra bruta como la lignina aumentan progresivamente a medida que la plauta se aproxima a la floración. Como dato complementario se ha dosado la humedad, cenizas, proteína bruta y grasa bruta en el material estudiado.

In this work the Sullivan method, modified by van Soest, is appliéd to the separation of crude fiber and lignin during difíerent periods of devélopment with regard to Vicia sativa, V. villosa and V. disperma plants, cultivated in the experimental field ofthe Cátedra de Forrajicultura (Forrage Cathedra), Faculty of Agronomy, La Plata, Argentine Republic, during the year 1970. It is verified that accurate data are obtained using the afore mentioned method; consequently it may be applied to other plant materials, and the crude fiber as well as the ligning iucrease progressively, while the plant is reaching the flowering period. As further data, moisture, ashes, crude protein and crude fat have been determined in the studied material.
