Instrumento constituido por quince tubos cilíndricos de caña. De diferente diámetro y longitud. Insertados a una calabaza, todo cubierto por laca negra.
El Ko Ling se empleó principalmente en Pekín, en donde se conocieron hasta cuarenta variedades. En la actualidad ha caído en desuso.

Set of end-blown flutes without duct. Sonorous instrument made of fifteen cylindrical cane pipes, each one of a different lenght and diameter, inserted into a gourd, all covered with black lacquer. The ko ling was used mainly in Pekin, where more than forty varieties of this instrument were known. Nowadays it is not used anymore.
