Abstract

In this paper the authors summarize observations on Nematus desantisi Smith, 1983, a new plague injurying wilow and poplar leaves in Buenos Aires, Chubut, Mendoza, Neuquén, Río Negro, San Juan and San Luis provinces in Argentina. The developmental stages are both described and ¡lustrated: remarks on bionomy, food plants, injuries, natural enemies and controlling procedures are make.
