La TV como espacio de reconocimiento, diferenciación y construcción del "otro"

Abstract

En este artículo se intenta delimitar la relación entre las identidades regionales y la televisión, viendo como esta última moldea y construye espacios de re-significación, donde lo local se expresa y se identifica. Para ello se hará un repaso de las distintas teorías que sustentan el objeto de estudio, analizando también los nuevos desafíos que debe enfrentar la televisión para cumplir su objetivo, sin olvidar que la TV es parte de nuestra cultura, la reproduce y la reafirma.

In this article we try to delimit the relationship between the regional identities and the television, seeing how this last one molds and builds spaces of resignificance, where the local things are expressed and identified. With this aim, we are going to do a revision of the different theories that sustain the object of study, analyzing also the new challenges that the television must face to fulfill its aim, without forgetting that the TV is a part of our culture, it reproduces it and reaffirms it.
