dc.description.abstract This investigation pursues a critical research concerning the means of dislocation and relationship associations shared by the inhabitants of contemporary metropolis. It proposes new pathways in the form of planning provocations, trying to find answers to¬ward crucial questions: How to work out the production of new urban tissue and their links with pre-existing urban spatiality and territoriality?; How to manage and expand urban design and equipment to provide inter subjective approaches? ; How to resolve in-teractions between public and private territories in areas conceived to stimulate the polarization and segregation? The proposal plan is concerning about a metropolitan area, whose “conurbation ” has revealed severe contrasts caused by rapid and uncontrolled ex-pansion. Without required articulation mechanisms, it is difficult to equation people s everyday social experiences with the necessary infrastructure (urban design, vehicles and supplies). We believe that through strategic connections it is possible to build a qualified collective spatiality that infiltrate the territory with new devices that radiate positive effects. To create an effective “urban tissue ”, this proposal stands up for a major premise: before increase the speed, how to decrease the hurry? The contemporary city is surrounded by a high speed logic of displacements that coexists with new globalization technologies that easily spread over territory. To confront this “fluidity ” that challenges the means ofperception, the power of experience and the conception of exceptional places, we propose an experimental (or) provocative intervention in multiple scales. It is an approach that aims to proliferate distinctive ambiences. The planning over the chosen location (that will be better explained in forward step) starts with the development of urban growth vectors associated with the diversification of transport infrastructure, which will conduct the planning and the new architectural program. Multimodal platforms spread over territory wouldform a metropolitan qualified network that encourages new uses in public areas designated for each of them, specifically on: the mismanaged aquifers and fringes, the ur¬ban centers only concerned with the vehicles movement, the residual marginal voids which are often boundary between neighboring municipalities. This critical discussion adopts iconographie references to analyze modes of occupation and movement, and as part of the results of the investigation, the city was able to reveal its prerogatives, nodes of influence and conflicts that produce intercepted barriers, discontinuous territories and occasional evacuated places, which subsidizing the development offorward-looking strategies. en
