Un sistema de automação residencial para auxiliar portadores de necessidades especiais

Abstract

This paper presents a solution that improves the lives of peo- ple with special needs in relation to the control of devices in a residence, in order to increase the autonomy of people with visual and hearing im- pairments or limited mobility. An application for Android devices that allows the user to control the devices in the house by voice command was developed. Practical experiments were conducted to validate the feasi- bility and practicality of the developed solution.
