Arquitectura y ambiente: una perspectiva latinoamericana

Abstract

Habitualmente cuando se habla de los problemas ambientales y la arquitectura se pone el acento en los aspectos relacionados a la naturaleza. Sin embargo, desde la perspectiva latinoamericana se puede verificar que los mayores impactos se darán en la mayor creación artificial del hombre y donde habita la mayor parte de la población: la ciudad. El espacio público y sus connotaciones sociales son protagonistas esenciales donde debe proponerse la innovación.

Usually when it is spoken of the environmental problems and the architecture, the accent is put in aspects related to the nature. Nevertheless, from the Latin American perspective it is possible to be verified that the greater impacts will occur in the greater artificial creation of the man and where it inhabits most of the population: the city. The public space and its social connotations are essential protagonists where the innovation must set out.
