Entre lo "verdadero histórico" y la "imaginación creadora"

Abstract

Esta investigación analiza imágenes (ilustraciones) sobre Historia y cultura de los pueblos indígenas en libros didácticos de Historia. A través de la propuesta de análisis de ilustraciones sobre la Historia y la cultura de los pueblos indígenas, problematizamos las representaciones construidas sobre los indios, su Historia, en el contexto del estudio de la Historia de Brasil y sobre la diversidad de sus culturas. Esta investigación considera las ilustraciones como vestigios de su tiempo y como documentos/fuentes en los estudios de la Historia y de la Enseñanza de la Historia, en que la fuente histórica es considerada en las dimensiones de verdad y de imaginación.

This research analyzes images (illustrations) about history and culture of indigenous people in history textbooks. Trough proposition the analysis of illustrations on indigenous people’s history and culture we discuss the representations of indigenous, their history in the context of the study of history in Brazil, and the diversity of their cultures. This research considers illustrations as vestiges of their time and as documents/sources in the studies of History and «History Teaching» illustrations produced to be used in a media context of the history textbook, in which the historical source is regarded in the dimensions of truth and imagination.
