This paper deals on our experience on that we called Subsyndromic Classification of Cerebral Palsy (CP) published and already registered, and with that we worked years back. The work demonstrates that within the great syndromes by all knowing, although with discrepancies according to the authors, specific subsyndromes exist that have own functional identity within a determined rank, using four chosen parameters. In the aspects of the displacement the present sample has been compared with the Gross Motor Functional Classification System (GMFCS). The sample was representative and all the children had ambulatory therapeutic orientation. The intention of bringing this classification is to contribute with a tool to the physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor, when defining the individual case, with a perspective of early prognosis which helps to orient each therapeutic and familiar program. This classification has been used by diverse specialists in our country.
