El cuerpo exo-diseñado

Abstract

Si el diseño se expresa visual y materialmente en el contexto del consumo y se gestiona mediante lo que el consenso social, en un determinado momento de una determinada sociedad, define como gusto y motorizado por el deseo, nos interrogamos acerca de cómo debería ser el diseño para aquello que no es deseado. De este modo, en el trabajo se analiza la relación entre el diseño de objetos tecnológicos protésicos, dirigidos a sujetos con capacidades limitadas, la mirada antropológica del cuerpo y la deriva social que ello implica.

If design is expressed visual and materially in the context of consumption, as well as it is driven by the desire and is managed through what the social consensus defines as taste at a certain moment in a certain society, we ask ourselves about what the design would be like for that which is not desired. Thus, in this work we will analyze the relationship between the design of prosthetic objects, addressed to disabled people, the anthropological view of the body and the social adrift that it implies.
