Tres modelos en la construcción estatal de la prensa periódica argentina

Abstract

En este ensayo se reflexiona en torno a tres modelos principales por medio de los cuales el Estado forjó las bases de la prensa periódica en la Argentina: el de sustitución, el de simbiosis y el de transferencia. El primero se caracteriza por iniciativas, compras de equipamiento y financiamientos a cargo del Estado, aun cuando desde el mismo se espera la concreción de un sistema de periódicos en manos privadas. El segundo, muestra estrategias simbióticas entre el manejo de recursos privados y estatales por parte de líderes que concentran tanto poder político como éxito empresarial. El tercero, opta por acelerar la transferencia de recursos a sectores afines a la propia facción, para hacer sostenible su supervivencia privada.

In this article it is thought over concerning three principal models by means of which the State forged the bases of the periodic press in the Argentina: that of substitution, that of symbiosis and that of transfer. The first one is characterized by initiatives, purchases of equipment and financings at the expense of the State, even if from the same one there is waited the concretion of a system of newspapers in private hands. Second, it shows symbiotic strategies between the managing of private and state resources on the part of leaders who concentrate so much political power as managerial success. The third, it chooses to accelerate the transfer of resources to related sectors to the own faction, to make his private survival sustainable.
