We described the vocalizations of Pristimantis ganonotus, from recordings made in June 2014 in Complejo Lacustre de Sardinayacu (Parque Nacional Sangay, Ecuador). We analyzed the spectral and temporal parameters of seventy calls recorded from five individuals. Based on the quantifications, we designate P. ganonotus as a species with a wide vocal repertoire. The biology of this species is fairly unknown and further researches is needed.
